It’s that time of year!!!
We’re finally done with winter (and yes, being from Florida I consider three days of below 60 degree weather winter) and heading into one of my favorite times of the year - spring! I have never experienced spring break on Panama City Beach before, and I have to admit, I still haven’t gone and checked it out.
I took a week of vacation for my own little spring break during the first major week of visitors here. Instead of the beach and club scene that most spring breakers take part in, my spring break was a little more subdued ... ok, a lot more subdued. The hub of my vacation was my house in good old Citrus County. From there I took a couple day trips throughout the state. I spent a day in St. Augustine, a day in Tampa, and a day in Orlando park-hopping at Disney. The best part, though, was just spending time with my family.
Perhaps I’ll make a trip down to the beach this weekend to catch the my first round of rays for 2008!
(Another reason I look forward to spring ... not much longer until football season!!! Go Gators :cheese:

About Me
Hey there... I've spent all my life in the Sunshine State. I grew up in the small town of Lecanto, Florida and I'm very excited about starting my career at WMBB... and living near the beach is just a big plus for me. I recently graduated from the University of Florida so of course, I'm a big Gator fan. If you have a few minutes, you can shoot me an email - malbright@wmbb.com. I'd love to hear from you.
