Life isn’t all glitz and glamour…

I’ll admit, I’m tired.  I may be 24, supposedly young enough to still live it up all the time, but I still need sleep.  Lately, I haven’t been getting much of it.  Overachievers are notorious for worrying constantly about failure or being perceived as not doing all they can to save the world.

Anyway, it’s been a busy couple of weeks, so I managed to neglect my blog. I unfortunately had to watch my Dawgs fall to the Evil One (aka Steve Spurrier), but we’ll get through it.  I’m excited that we managed to stay in the top 25 AP Poll.  Go Dawgs!!!

On Saturday, I had the honor of being on the Rocky and Randall Show on Kat Country 103.5 FM to talk about the Emerald Coast UGA Club.  The most exciting part of that, aside from meeting the show’s hosts, was predicting who would win games with none other than the legendary Vince Dooley, who appeared via phone.  For any Georgia girl, that’s a highlight.

I’ve signed up to be part of the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Lynn Haven coming up in October.  It’s a cause that’s really important to
me, because cancer is such a huge part of our lives, and I believe it doesn’t have to be the devastating presence that it is to so many families. I think we can all make a difference, but we have to be willing to give our time and money to help eradicate this horrible disease.  To donate now,
