Martin Anderson Settlement

I think the legislature voted while Gov. Bush was in office on their settlement. Also why doesn’t anyone ever mention that the BCSO settled too?Don’t just blame it on Crist. Besides, did any of the guard supporters think that since O.J. was proven innocent, that the Goldmans not deserve a settlement? It’s the same thing. So Brenda and Jena need to give it a rest

  1. Joe, please - OJ Simpson? Is that your basis? I won’t touch that for very obvious reasons… I will say that Crist isn’t the only one to blame, but the point is there was wrong doing by acting prematurely and trying to quiet the family needlessly. Now as governor, I believe it falls on his shoulders to address it. I say Brenda was right in thinking that the money could have been used elsewhere - perhaps a new form of youth intervention? I also think I should add that we all would have been “guard supporters”, as you put it, 3 years ago. Would you not have patted them on the back for re-directing our troubled youth and providing promise for their tomorrow? You have to remember those boys weren’t there for walking little old ladies across the street.
