Mosley’s Douglas Hangs Up The Cleats

LYNN HAVEN, Fla. - Mosley Head Baseball Coach Jed Douglas is calling it quits to pursue a coaching position in Tennessee.

Douglas would not verify with News13 whether his job will in the collegiate or high school level or if he will even coach at all.

“It was a pretty good two years,” Douglas said. “We won 44 games during my tenure.

“I’ve just got to make the decision if I want to coach high school baseball for the rest of my life.  I want to go somewhere where I can settle down.”

During the 30-year-old’s time at Mosley, Douglas had 8 players sign collegiate scholarships including senior Cody Johnson earning the national player of the year award.
