One on One: Bobby Schindler

Bobby Schindler was there when his sister Terri died. After a bitter court battle between his family and his sister’s husband, her feeding tube was removed, she died 13 days later.  Terri Schivo had recieved a brain injury years before and a debate over her well being took years. Her parents and siblings wanted to take care of her, her husband Michael said she didn’t want to live this way. The judge agreed and in March 2005, Terri’s feeding tube was removed.

Bobby Schindler tours the country speaking about involuntary euthanasia and what people need to know if they want to take proper care of a loved one who could find themselves in a similar situation. Schindler is also a keynote speaker at the 13th annual Florida Chautauqua Assembly January 31st.
