One-on-One: Justin Andersson
Justin Andersson was born and raised in Panama City. After college, he returned to Panama City and worked for his grandmother’s rental company. He has served briefly on the Downtown Improvment Board.
Andersson says he is not against development, but he is against building condominiums that are taller than 50 feet. He would like to see the city work with developers to make sure high rises aren’t built to high.
On the issue of affordable housing, Andersson says higher paying jobs and new industry go hand in hand with building homes that the average family can buy. He suggests the city sell property that it owns to allow for new affordable homes.
