Quick Fix For Your Golf Game

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - A golf swing relies on timing, speed and flexibility more than power.  For that reason, dramatic improvements in technology have been made, leading to longer shots.

Every time Chase Seiffert takes a swing there’s an eagle eye watching his every more.  It’s electronic and helps golfers take a high tech look at what’s going on with their swing.

“We can slow down swing speed,” Instructor Adam Brack said.  “We can go frame-by-frame to get an idea of his swing.”

“You can watch yourself on the compture thing,” Seiffert said.  “After that camp, I finished first and had two second place finishes.  It got me to a better place.”

Seiffert has dropped 10 shots off his handi-cap.  That’s the good news.  The frustrating part is starring at every move on the screen.

The software is call V1.  The program also removes any uncertainty when you can see your swing compared to a PGA proffessional’s.

Brack has about 100 golfers in his V1 program.  But his students are not limited to the Panhandle.

“I teach a lot of lessons in Michigan,” Brack said.  “They send me their videos via email, then I send them back a lession.  People that I teach, I sometimes never meet.”

The software is helpful, but there’s no subsitute for a good teacher.

The Martin Green Golf Academy at the Hombre Golf Club has been selected as a Top 25 school by Golf Magazine the last four years.
