One on One: Dr. Charles Nichols
As men age, their prostate weakens. They may often see a change in urine flow. That’s normal. Unfortunatley, there are no symptoms if cancer starts to form in the prostate. The only way to detect it is with a PSA test, through blood. The prostate is the only organ that gives off psa.
Dr. Charles Nichols says men should get checked by their doctor. Being diagnosed with prostate cancer isn’t necessarily a death sentence. More and more men are living with the illness with treatment. But early diagnosis is the key.
