One on One: Gordon Dancey

Gordon Charles Dancey spent 47 years in the newspaper business in Toronto. The Canadian born journalist wrote for various publications over his long career. These days he writes for the NewsHerald.  He sends in stories from Canada for the winter visitors on Panama City Beach.  He too is a winter visitor with his wife.

Dancey says in Canada, news from America is often seen. They keep up with the war, politics and Britney Spears. He says Americans are almost always friendly to Canadian visitors, especially here in the Panhandle. Dancey says the two countries are like cousins, closer when a President and Prime Minister are friendly. The varies from election to election.
