One-on-One: Neil Jones
Neil C. Jones has lived in Bay County for 50 years. He resides in Lynn Haven and wants to help run the city. He is seeking the job as Seat 4 City Commissioner.
Jones is a commercial Real Estate Investment Broker and says he talks with people everyday who know Lynn Haven is growing. He wants to help manage that growth with his experience.
Stormwater runoff is a big problem in Lynn Haven which is low lying in many places. Jones knows first hand from hurricane flooding that while some things, like homes on the bay, can’t be “fixed”, they can be made better with city solutions.
Jones also believes not every problem should be solved by raising taxes. There are other avenues to look at first before you make residents pay more taxes, he says.
