One on One: Rev. Billy Fox
This is a busy time of year at the Rescue Mission. Hundreds of people in need stop in for help as the holidays and cold weather begin. Single moms and dads with children, even elderly women find themselves homeless and in need of shelter.
The Panama City Rescue Mission is a christian non profit organization that has been helping those in need for 35 years. They offer 152 beds, which inludes a seperate facility for women and children.
The Rescue Mission runs solely on donations from residents. It receives no tax money at all. The Rev. Billy Fox says Panhandle residents are generous and he is hoping they will come through again this holiday season.
If you would like to donate money or clothing or food, or if you would like to volunteer your time go to pcrmission.org
