Bay’s Weekend of Baseball Tournament

PANAMA CITY - Rutherford (4-1) beat Godby 3-1 Friday afternoon at Bay High School.  Pitcher Blake Norrad pitched four scoreless innings and struck out four in the win.

The Mosley Dolphins (2-3) fell 3-1 to North Florida Christian in the night cap.  The Eagles got on the board first with a second inning single by Robert Dickey scoring Bill Carpenter.

Mosley didn’t put a dent in the scoreboard until the bottom of the sixth.  William Perry singled to right field scoring a runner from third to tie the game 1-1.

In the top of the seventh, North Florida broke the tie with a two out single from Michael Holmes scoring two Eagles.

Mosley plays again Saturday at 10 a.m. against Godby.  Bay will follow at 1 p.m. against Port St. Joe.
