BCS Championship Game Predictions

PANAMA CITY - On Monday night, No. 2 Florida and No. 1 Ohio State meet in the first BCS National Championship game in Glendale, AZ.

Ohio State (12-0) with it’s Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Troy Smith might be a no-brainer.  The Big Ten champs have been No. 1 since the preseason polls and have knocked off two No. 2 ranked teams.

Whether it’s Florida head coach Urban Meyer’s campaigning for his team to get a shot at the Buckeyes or the fact the Gators (12-1) survived a brutal Southeastern Conference get their shot at powerful Ohio State.

News 13 caught up with some local fans of both teams to get predictions on the big game.

My prediction: Florida 30-24
