Cilbrith Delivers A Knock-Out!

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - Tim “The Extinguisher” Cilbrith entered the Edgewater Beach Resort Civic Center with his name resonating wall-to-wall!

“Tim, Tim, Tim!”

China Smith versus Jimmy Joseph may have been the official “Main Event,” but 1,200-plus fans were all there for their local hero.

Cilbrith, a firefigher at Panama City Station No. 2 and co-owner of Ultimate Boxing Gym in Panama City, made his pro debut against Donald Body of Jackson, Miss.

In the second round, “The Extinguisher” landed a shot on Body’s ribs, then an overhand right that sent Body to the floor.

The referee stopped the fight 1 minute, 46 seconds into the second round.

A knock-out win for Tim Cilbrith!

The ten round “Main Event,” paired China “The Dragon” Smith and Jimmy “Farmer” Joseph.

Smith (Tampa, Fla.) came into the fight with 30 career wins, 24 by knock-out and was the favorite.

But Joseph (Trinity, Trinidad & Tobago) came out with a fury.  In the eighth round, “Farmer” landed a right cross to Smith’s head and he fell into the ropes.

“The Dragon” stumbled while attempting to get to his feet.

The referee called the fight in the eighth, a TKO win for Joseph.

Joseph picks up his 16th win of his career and is looking for a World Championship belt.

“I just want a belt to hold up my pants, right now my pants are falling down. I have the WBC belt, the Trinidad Championship belt, now I want the World belt.”
