Cody Collectibles!

PANAMA CITY - If you’re stumped on finding the perfect gift for that Atlanta Braves fan or Mosley High School fan on your list, here’s an idea.

Mosley High Alum Cody Johnson’s baseball cards are being sold on eBay.

Thirty cards are on eBay as of Saturday night.  It’s a 2006 Bowman Chrome Draft X-Factor Rookie card autographed with Johnson’s signature.  Only 225 of these cards were printed.  Fans are buying the cards for around $40.

But there’s one card out there going for over $600!  It’s the autographed Cody Johnson Bowman Chrome Superfractor 1 of 1.

Johnson was named the 5A state Player of the Year for Florida and hit .525 with 15 home runs, six doubles and 43 RBI in his senior year for the Dolphins.

The 2005 Aflac National High School Player of the Year was ranked by Baseball America as one of the best raw power hitters in the draft.  Johnson also was named the MVP of the 2005 summer showcase wooden bat circuit and the recipient of the Jackie Robinson Award. He was selected to the Baseball America pre-season High School All-America team in 2006.
