GCCC’s Copley Pitches Gem
PANAMA CITY - The Gulf Coast Community College baseball won it’s third Panhandle Conference game in a row on Thursday beating Pensacola Junior College 1-0.
Commodores’ pitcher Devin Copley pitched a complete game shutout. He struck out 14 batters while giving up only four hits.
Mason Meredeth singled home the game-winning run with one out in the bottom of the ninth to give Gulf Coast and Copley the win.
The Commodores improve to 5-5 in the Panhandle Conference and 22-11 overall.
