Lady ‘Fins Advance To District Title Game
LYNN HAVEN - The Mosley Girls basketball team is on a quest to repeat as District 2-5A Champions. They got off to a good start Thursday night beating Lincoln 65-41 in front of the home crowd.
Senior Jessica Sowder hit four three-pointers, all in the first half, and finished with 21 points. Freshman Tanesha Middleton led all scorers with 22 points.
Mosley lost to Lincoln earlier this season in Tallahassee 45-44. But, a few variables changed from that game to Thursday’s semi-final game. Sowder did not play during the game in our state’s capitol and the Lady ‘Fins had the home court advantage.
Mosley will play Leon on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Lynn Haven for the district championship.
