Take it to a Tiebreaker
PANAMA CITY- Talk about a short week, just three days after taking their helmets off, Mosley, Tallahassee Chiles and Tallahassee Leon had to strap them back on for a District 3 Class 4A tiebreaker.
How did we get to this point you might ask, because all three teams finished with the same 2-2 records in the district. Mosley lost to Chiles and beat Leon, and Leon forced the tiebreaker after beating Chiles on Friday.
The Dolphins are the host of the event because they have the best overall record at 6-3.
The first game notches Chiles against Leon in a 12-minute quarter, with the loser going home and the winner taking on Mosley in another 12-minute quarter, and after the completion of that game, we would have our district runner-up.
SCORES
Leon 3
Chiles 0 (OT)
Leon 14
Mosley 7
Leon claims the runner-up spot in the district.
