Another Steve Meadows Screw Up

Case #07002742CFMA. On 07/30/07 David Thompson was arrested for Second Degree Robbery. He was released on 01/29/08 & sentenced to time served. The SAO dropped the ball after Public Defender, Stan Peacock, made request for a Speedy Trial & the SAO allowed expiration. So What Right?
Well on 07/09/08 Thompson was arrested again for Sale of Cocaine and is now wanted for Murder!. Thompson should have been in prison. Who are you going to blame this time Steve???? Judge Hess?
No spin Meadows, you lost another one to the Public Defenders Office. Guess you were to busy with your video surveillance.

I saw on the local news tonight where Sister Milligans former law office was set on fire by arson.  I wonder where the surveillance tapes that Steve Meadows has been gathering were when this was going on?  Surely he cant blame her for this...she had nothing to gain this time.  Now what will the SAO come up with?

Well actually, he made bond. See if I have this right and you have been following the case. See Anthony Flesch had a 50k bond, he blew it. Anthony got arrested for more charges Robert Thompson then signed no up front money, no collateral signed for Anthony. Then Anthony signed for Jamie-David Thompson. All these people sign for each other and get out. It is all on court records. If Flesch never got out of jail for his charges non of what happened this past month would have either. Lets not for get about the kidnapping charges, firearms and drugs. But still he is a little tiny pile of stuff, who is letting the people out on bond w/ signatures and no cash or where is the cash coming from? so those people can go run drugs for the real players??? Why because he is a snitch that is why who turns in other people to get off other charges he wasn’t even charged with. Does possession of Meth ring a bell?? What at first looked like a huge success is really a big screw up, none of it should have happened

Don’t you love bay county courthouse records.  You can really get to know each other that way!

Yes, I would have to agree that a lot of scumbags are turned loose! Do they drop cases so that possibly losing a trial doesn’t bring down their conviction rates?

I want to stand up for Steve Meadows!  His office is the only one that has had any interest in prosecuting the convicted felon that terrorized me and scammed my family.

They had him scheduled for trial until his attorney got him off just a few days before the trial.  The cowardly sub-contractors didn’t dare to testify so it was dropped for “no information” but he was issued a warning.

The State’s Attorney’s office did all that they could and now they are investigating the construction fraud issue.  It may not be the biggest crime in town but they are taking their time to investigate and hopefully to bring this criminal to justice.

I can’t possibly ask for someone to do more than their best. They have treated me well and I appreciate their efforts!

I BELIEVE IN STEVE MEADOWS AND WILL BE VOTING FOR HIM AS STATE ATTORNEY!

There is much to be said for what is considered a win.  One of the most recent examples is the cases conerning Justin Joseph.  First, they are unable to keep the appropriate murder charge against him then they can’t even make the charges of CARRYING A CONCEALED FIREARM,DISCHARGING A FIREARM IN PUBLIC stick.  Then he is charged with POSS OF CONT SUBST W I T SELL ETC 3RD POSS OF PARAPHERNALIA get’s 5yrs probation.  Violates probation and is charged with CARRYING A CONCEALED FIREARM,CNTRL SUBS LESS THAN 20 GRAM MARIJUANA, RESIST OFFICER WITHOUT VIOLENCE and gets more probation.  This is a person who should not be on the streets!  If you consider this a win, your wrong!  These types of people, who were given a chance the first time, should be in jail when the violate. So which is it are the defense attorneys so great or is the States Attorney’s office weak?

CONSTRUCTION FRAUD IS A CRIME!!  EVEN IF THE CONTRACTOR OR DEVELOPER IS A MEMBER OF THE BCCC (BAY COUNTY CONNECTED CLASS)!

Wow, Meadows actually helped you, you must have a relative in his office or did you meet him in his office or after hours?

As for the jamie Thompson case, very sad. See there are many people responsible for the demise of Jamie. Besides Jamie. Anthony Flesch was trafficking these drugs and BCSO knew it. He came down with his fugative mom who hung out with the PCB police until she was discovered to be wanted.. He was older and I beleive he had already done time. He took these troubled kids and took them many steps further. Look at the bond for all of them. There was no way they could ahve secured the bonds without the help on Steele bondsman which just blows me away. As for the public plea department, they work hand in hand. It is a win for both of them to convict without a shred of evidence. What happened to those kids is horrible and could have been avoided. Judge Hess is a good man and he will win the election or I really feel sorry for Bay County. Honesty I feel like a state investigation needs to be opened to look at what is has happening in that town. I am just thankful that there is a place like this forum where you can voice your opinion unlike the censored News Heard.

This is a subject that burns my backside.  Sexual predators, offenders whatever they are called these days can plea down to a lesser charge of Lewd and Lucivious (I may not be spelling those correctly but they are referred to as an L & L and that charge doesn’t carry the restrictions such as job restrictions or registering as a sex offender.

So, what does that mean, they can go start a day care center??
