Bay County consumer protection needed

Many people reading this would think we already have the Better Business Bureau.  Yes I too always regarded them highly until I found out first hand that they routinely feed the same line “That company is in good standing with no complaints filed against them”

Well, I tested this and found that they are selective on which complaints they disclose.

I use to think that they were there to help the consumers but think again.  They represent businesses and for them go give good references knowing that abuses have been reported is a sure sign that they are not looking out for the consumer.

If anyone knows how we can start a non profit consumer protection site for the area I would love to help out.  We need protection and sticking together is the best way to make that happen.

Consumers fighting back,,,,It’s about time!!

Hey Gretel, here’s the real deal with the Better Business Bureau. It is plain and simple.

BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.  To give out negative info on these businesses is like BITING THE HAND THAT FEEDS THEM and who do you know that does that?  Think about it.

THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU IS A LOAD OF BUNK! They may intervene somewhat in some situations.  But, they are funded by businesses not the consumer.  So, all a business has to do is put on a good front and they are off the hook!

Don’t waste your time calling them.  http://www.baycoclerk.com is where you will get the real information.
