Bay County Politicians

I try and keep up with the local politics, why is our County commissioners can find money to build a road to the existing airport and make it all beautiful when I believe that all the time they knew the deal was to sell the airport and get a new one, of which I don’t think we need at all.

Then we have a court house that needs repair and they have to hold a WORKSHOP on figuring how to get the money for the repairs, it has to be fixed. But then our commission does things like “it will cost too much to repair the old library so they convince us all we need a new one”

They build this big beautiful new library and now what do they want to do, FIX THE OLD LIBRARY so they can use it for storage and move some of the offices over to the library. Why couldn’t they just have been honest? Cause they are in politics.

I wish all of us here in Bay County would stand up for ourselves and stop letting the good ole boys run things. Why didn’t we stand up about this new airport? Why didn’t we stand up about the library? Why don’t we stand up about the court house? It needs to be fixed, so fix it, stop spending money on things like workshops on if we need lifeguards, thats a no brainer, yes we need lifeguards. I believe with all my heart our county is setting us up so that one day we will be “Lil Biloxi” why else would they build all these concrete condos, for families to come to our beautiful beaches? Families can’t afford to use these condos, at least most can’t. We have nothing here really for children, so why keep promoting us as a family place to visit. I wish I knew how to fix things but I don’t but I do know that we as Americans need to stand up and say enough is enough...stop throwing money out a window like it will never end..Make your budgets like we families make ours..live within the means.
Right now I won’t even go into our country!

But if we don’t wake up we won’t have our America, we’ll have a Lil Russia. Just putting my feelings down.

There are people who have been and still are opposing the airport and they see it as a big corporate welfare scam for the ST JOE company which will not have any benefit to the area. Also there are groups and individuals who are opposing the crooks who are running this area into bankruptsy with their poor management and stealing!

With the steady stream of criminals flowing through the bay county court system I believe that the repairs to such a busy building our justified. FIX THE COURTHOUSE AND BE DONE WITH IT!

As for the school board....time to delete some of the duplication like the administrators who have an assistant who have there own assistant and so on.  What a waste of the tax payer money.

As for the new airport...how did the promise of “It won’t cost the tax payers anything, to we are now asked to pay for the road.  You can bet before this hair brained scheme is completed we will end up paying for a whole lot more.  Wait and see.

THIS CONSTANTLY ATTACK THE SCHOOL BOARD IS A DIVERSION TO GET YOUR ATTENTION AWAY FROM THE REAL STEALING AND RACKETEERING.  YOU HAVE TO EDUCATE THESE CHILDREN!

AND WHY IS THEIR NO MENTION OF ALL THE MILLIONAIRE PROPERTY OWNERS WHO PAY $1.00 PER ACRE IN PROPERTY TAX AND CHEAT YOU CHILDREN OUT OF THEIR SCHOOL MONEY!!  not a word?

I would love to learn more about the corruption of the bay county government.  I am trying to make a connection between county governement and a developer/contractor who has no regard for the law and the county continues to let him do as he pleases.  Why?

WHEN YOU SAY: “As for the school board....time to delete some of the duplication like the administrators who have an assistant who have there own assistant and so on.  What a waste of the tax payer money.” HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU THINK IT TAKES TO RUN A SCHOOL??  MORE THAN ONE, THATS FOR SURE.  YOU HAVE ONE BOSS, THE PRINCIPAL, THEN YOU HAVE SEVERAL ASSISTANTS IN A LARGE HIGH SCHOOL TO COVER THE DISCIPLINE, THE ESE PAPERWORK, THE REPORTS, THE COMPLAINING PARENTS, THE WHINING TEACHER, THE BUS DRIVERS, AND PROBABLY 50 OTHER AREAS WHILE THE PRINCIPAL ATTEMPTS TO BE THE INSTRUCTIONAL LEADER OF THE SCHOOL.  IF KIDS BEHAVED, TEACHERS ACTED LIKE PROFESSIONALS, THERE WAS NO PAPERWORK, PARENTS STAYED OUT OF THE SCHOOLS, YES, THEN ONE PERSON COULD RUN A SCHOOL.
