Contractor referral service

I was reading the ABC news site and someone from up north was starting a contractor referral site where people could just rate their contrators and post their comments and tell about their experiences so that people could check the site and find out what people really have to say about their contractors.  It wouldn’t be sugar coated like the BBB or Building Dept or DBPR. 

I would sure like to be involved in a project like that.

Imagine praising the framers that worked on my roof in 90-95 degrees, without complaint.

My cabinet maker sure deserves recognition on the quality custom cabinets that just blow away the competition.

And yes unfortunately also the beware of ?????

I recently got burned very badly from a local contractor. He not only took advantage of my husband and I but also used violence and intimidation as business tools.  I was so outraged and now want to channel that energy into something positive that can help people to avoid the traps and pit falls that I fell into.

Any thoughts on getting something like that started in BAY County???

Contractor referral service....that would be a fun to put the crooks out of business.  The problem is that there are dangerous criminals hiding in the construction business that would be happy to come out and snuff out anyone who tried to run them out.

You have some good ideas but “they ain’t gonna happen around here” in corrupt Bay County Florida.

I would love to be involved in a contractor referral service.  Although I must tell you that most of the good contractors have moved to Destin and we are left with the rest.  Many shouldn’t even have a license.
The construction industry in Bay County is in sorry shape.
