FLORIDA DEPT. OF LAW ENFORCEMENT

If you want to report a crime in Bay county and you suspect even for a moment that the offender may have ties to the Bay County Good Ole’ Boys, don’t even bother to waste your time going through local channels.

The FDLE officers are very easy to talk to and actually listen to your concerns.  I don’t feel that they are influenced by our local good ole’ boy bunk!

Bringing something to their attention may actually get investigated whereas a complaint filed with the county may never see the light of day!!

I have news for you, the FDLE Direstor serves at the “pleasure of the Governor” that means it’s a political position!

So, the prosecutor didn’t get charged?  Why am I not surprised.

At least that story made the news over and over again. Also, he did get fired.  So, he did suffer some consequences.  He still should be charged though.  The rest of us would have been charged unless one of us is also “well connected”.

Is there someone who has “connections” that wants to be my friend?  I am still trying to have that CONVICTED FELON working as a licenced contractor in Bay County who terrorized me and scammed my family finally brought to justice.

Did I mention that his “daddy” has “friends” in Bay County government?

Convicted Felons being licensed as General Contractors is an interesting subject.  I thought that a Felon couldn’t receive a license and must be working under another license, but some seem to have their own while others are turned away?  WHY IS THAT?

Good post crime dog...that is what I was saying earlier. Get the information out of Bay County. Call FDLE AND the Governors office. They aren’t part of Bay County and will stand up to them and for you. I can promise you that~~

I have something to add to your discussion on Felons being licensed as General Contractors.  The State and Bay County Building Dept. policy is inconsistent.  There will be one contractor who is licensed shorly after serving a long prison sentence then I hear of someone else who got in much less trouble than the other one who was just licensed and many years ago. But, is denied based on his background.

Here’s the difference however, the one with the long prison record had connections and his father is a developer in Bay county.  The one who got denied is just plain “Joe” the contractor.

You don’t suppose that makes a difference do you??
