Murder, Drugs and Hookers

How many murders, meth labs, hookers and crack houses does it take to close a place?? How long will it continue to be the home for the worst Panama City has to offer??? I understand allowing a place to continue with the drugs and hookers so that Officers know where to look for certain people, but how many people have to die before someone does something.  You can say the the owners had no idea what was going on, however, I know differently. They absolutely know and facilitate some of these activities. The owners, the staff, and hired labor all know what is going on. The employees who actually try to help make a difference are either fired, let go, or in at least 2 different cases, they were killed. The question now becomes, What are we as a community going to do about it?????

If it was not for this site I wouldn’t know the real deal on anything going on around here.  Thanks!  I wasn’t aware that the motel where that poor little girl was killed was a regular place for crime activity.  What haunts me as the mother of girls is how the police waited so long before they would even start a search.  Do we have any actualy law enforcement in Bay County??  What a shame about that little girl.  It just breaks my heart.

The law states that a person must be “missing” 24 hours before they launch an investigation. Not bashing the law, just saying. Most people would assume that when you check out of a hotel, there is a cleaning staff assigned to that room. It was 2 days after the guy checked out that the room was cleaned and the body found. That place has been a haven for illegal activities forever now. The rare exception seems to be the people with literally no place else to go, and they are the ones that suffer most of all.
