Victim of crime turns into advocate to help others

What do you make of this.  I am a homemaker who has always been interested in fighting for the underdog but I pretty much left it to someone else to accomplish.  Now, that I have been victimized I am completely driven to educate people about the hazards and tips of avoiding the disaster that I had falled victim to.  I guess I worked through all the stages of grief and ended up possibly finding a way to make a difference.  I sometimes wonder if it was just to be.  If I hadn’t lived though the experience, there is no way I would be able to fully understand the problem or how to help others.  I write articles on the subject and publish them in the paper and on this site but how do I reach more people?  I don’t really know too much about finding things on the internet.  I just know that sharing my experience will help others, I just need to know where to post my story. I believe that if sharing my experience helps others it will help me to find some closure.

Sorry about the type errors.  I seriously need to learn how to edit or proof read better.
